Acupuncture has the power to kickstart the process of neuromodulation and will redirect energy flow in a balanced way. As a Registered Acupuncturist and Reiki practitioner, I believe that the body holds the wisdom and innate capacity for self-regulation and healing. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine approach; my aim is to facilitate this inner process by restoring the balance of Yin and Yang, stimulate the energy system, enhance immunity and promote a positive energy flow. When I work with patients in this way, my goal is to nourish and regulate their unique constitution, alleviate their symptoms and treat the underlying root causes of the imbalance.

Most of the session is the treatment itself — needles placed at selected points and left in place for a stretch, sometimes with heat or electrical stimulation — with a shorter check-in on what changed after last time and any small adjustments before you leave with the next step in the plan.
