Labour and Birth Prep
IMPORTANT: NEW CLIENTS PLEASE BOOK AN INITIAL PELVIC FLOOR PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSESSMENT and make a note in your intake form that you are interested in Labour and Birth Prep - your physiotherapist will still cover the information however requires additional time if this is your first visit.
This appointment will help you feel more prepared and informed for delivery. A pelvic floor trained physiotherapist will review pelvic floor preparation, labour and delivery positions, exercises to support labour progression, and early postpartum recovery.
Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend this appointment.

Most of the appointment is spent figuring out what your body can and can’t do — talking through the pattern of the problem, then checking movement, strength, balance and specific tests — with some hands-on treatment or exercise coaching and a plan to take away.
