To begin at 36 weeks, acupuncture is used to help prepare you for birth and encourage labour. By increasing blood flow, the uterus and cervix are softened and thinned which helps baby pass.
One treatment per week for cervical ripening is recommended (from 36-40 weeks).
Twice a week once at 39-40 weeks can help encourage Induction.
