Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment for people with joint or tendon disorders. ESWT sends acoustic shock waves into the tissue - in effect reinjuring the area on a cellular level and breaking up the scarring that has penetrated the tendons and ligaments. There is an in-office fee for shockwave up to $55.
