Craniosacral osteopathic treatment is a gentle, hands-on approach that focuses on supporting the natural movement and balance of the body—particularly around the head (cranium), spine, nervous system and sacrum.
Using light, precise touch, your osteopath works to release areas of restriction and tension that may be affecting how your body functions and adapts to everyday stress, injury or posture.
This treatment looks at the whole body, not just where symptoms are felt. The aim is to support the nervous system, improve mobility of surrounding tissues, and encourage your body’s own self-regulating and healing processes.
The techniques used during your session will depend entirely on the practitioner’s clinical assessment and what is most appropriate for you on the day of your appointment.
