The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is where the skill and lower jaw meet. Many people experience TMJ pain or discomfort. The muscles in the face and jaw area and the joint work together and a problem with either one can lead to pain, difficulty biting/eating, limited opening, stiffness, clicking, locking, and/or headaches. TMJ disorders are common and affect all age groups.
