Specially trained therapists work with individuals before and after their cancer treatments to help manage side effects of treatments. This may include: improving range of motion and strength, fatigue management and education, axillary cording, management of neuropathy, circulation and lymphedema. Physiotherapy treatments often include manual therapy and soft tissue techniques, therapeutic exercise and modified clinical Pilates techniques, basic lymphatic drainage and education. For continuity of ongoing care please also book 3 follow-up visits at 2 week intervals with the same practitioner. **Please call to book a TELEHEALTH treatment option if you are currently receiving cancer treatment or are within 7 days or less from your last cancer treatment.**

En quoi ça consiste
Most of this first physiotherapy visit is spent figuring out what’s driving the problem — history, movement, strength and hands-on testing — then some treatment if there’s time, and you leave with a clearer picture and a plan for what comes next.
