Orthotic Casting
Our Pedorthist will take a detailed history as well as perform gait observation (watching you walk), and will perform a biomechanical assessment of your foot and ankle. Afterwards she will perform a plaster cast molding of your foot which will be sent away for fabrication of an orthotics device.
Note: A casting will be required if you have not had one within the past 2 years at our clinic.

Most of the appointment is spent examining how your feet are built and moving — skin, nails, joints, pressure points, gait and footwear — then dealing with the immediate issue through nail or skin care, padding, strapping or offloading, and sending you out with clear next steps.
