About the clinic
Dr Darlene Buan-Basit will be working on another project for the majority of the year. She will be offering pop up clinics at various times throughout the year. Please look out for an email for more details.
When she is in Toronto, she works out of Frame Fidelity ( #103 - 505 Eglinton Ave West) and One80Health ( #803 - 1200 Bay Street).
Dr Sandra Krsmanovic was on maternity leave and will be back at Frame Fidelity in February 2026.

“10/10 would recommend! We went to Dr. Darlene for craniosacral therapy with our 1 month old who had trouble effectively latching while nursing. Breastfeeding had not been working out at all, and I was increasingly frustrated and was losing hope. After the first session, I started to see improvements, and after a few more sessions, my daughter’s latch improved and I was finally able to effectively breastfeed. This is a very long overdue review, but I have now been exclusively breastfeeding for 9 months, and it would not have been possible without Dr. Darlene! She was amazing with my daughter, took time to explain everything so we understood what she was doing, and gave us helpful tips and exercises. Thank you so much for your help! “Dr. Darlene is the absolute best, there is no other way to put it. She saved our breastfeeding journey and helped make our little one comfortable and happy. My little one had a few tongue tie revisions and we were told that our latch "shouldn't be painful" but it still was. Enter Dr. Darlene- from the first visit, we were able to get a non-painful latch. Breastfeeding became a nice time, rather than the anxiety-filled experience it had been up until then. Not only did she help with my little one's latch, but her body work also drastically improved her sleep. After the first visit our little one slept through the night. It was amazing! We continued with Dr. Darlene and everything continued to go smoothly. Our little one was hesitant to roll to her left and after one session, she was freely rolling both ways. Dr. Darlene also gave us exercises to do with her at home which helped maintain, and continue to improve, our whole situation. She also was extremely honest and didn't recommend that we come back once or twice a week, she increased the intervals between sessions and she was always bang on with the timing. I would notice my little one starting to get tense right around when she had recommended we come back. We now see her when we think our little one could benefit, and we do not hesitate to do so. We come in from Scarborough and it is well worth the drive. We only wish we had found her sooner and started therapy before her tongue tie release(s). We are so thankful for everything Dr. Darlene did for us during a very difficult time as first time parents with few resources given the pandemic.
