Le lymphœdème est l’enflure qui se produit quand la lymphe ne peut pas circuler normalement et qu’elle s’accumule dans les tissus mous d’un membre. Cette pathologie peut se présenter suite à un cancer ou une chirurgie.
Le traitement lymphoedème comporte deux phases: une phase de réduction du volume de l’œdème avec un drainage lymphatique manuel, et une phase de stabilisation avec bandage. ***Noter que cette condition est normalement diagnostiqué par un médecin.
