Ideal to help ease the aches and pains that go along with pregnancy.
The treatments are largely the same, a variety of massage/ stretching/ taping techniques. However, there are a few specific things for things like round ligament pain or pubic symphasis pain that can be done.
The massage table has removable padding which allows you to lay face down. The belly & chest are supported by strong but soft trampoline-like material allowing you to fully relax. Treatments may be done totally face-down, or you can choose to be propped up with pillow/ wedges in a face-up position for work to the front of the neck/ chest and arms.
Selecting this option simply indicates that I may need to take some extra time to set up my table differently or have different oils ready.
Pregnancy is a contraindicated for dry needling and lymphatic work.
This may also be an option if you are breastfeeding and require the extra room, or perhaps even recovering from abdominal or chest surgery and need the softer padding.
