Virtual Occupational Therapy Feeding Assessment
This virtual appointment is available to anyone in the postpartum period who wants support with infant feeding, whether things feel challenging, confusing, or simply not as smooth as expected.
This appointment assesses both breast and bottle feeding, and also looks at the functional and physical factors that can make feeding harder than it needs to be. It's an appointment that has been intentionally designed to catch things early, before feeding challenges escalate or become entrenched.
Rather than rigid rules or one-size-fits-all advice, the focus is on understanding what is happening, identifying small but meaningful adjustments, and supporting feeding in a way that works for your baby, your body, and your recovery.
This session is open to anyone whether you are breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, combo feeding, pumping, or still figuring out what works best. Being virtual, it is accessible from anywhere and can be booked early, before feeding feels overwhelming.

What it is
Most of this first visit is spent figuring out how your day-to-day is being affected — talking through routines, barriers and goals, and looking at how you manage specific tasks — with less time on strategies or equipment ideas and a clear next-step plan to leave with.
