Intake appointments are for us to be able to gather relevant information on what is going on and start to figure out how to help. It is important for both members of the couple to be present at the intake, please call to reschedule if you cannot be there. Please note that While I offer the Meet and Greet virtually for couples, I do ask that we do the intake in person, from there we can discuss doing telehealth sessions.

Most of the hour is spent talking through what’s been happening, how you’ve been reacting, and what patterns keep showing up — your counsellor asks questions, reflects things back, and helps you put words to it — so you leave with a clearer sense of what came up and what to keep noticing between sessions.
