The therapist may also assess the patient's posture, alignment, and any muscle imbalances that could be contributing to pelvic floor dysfunction.
Additionally, the assessment may involve assessing the patient's breathing patterns and how they affect pelvic floor function, as well as evaluating any specific symptoms or issues the patient is experiencing, such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, or sexual dysfunction.
Throughout the assessment, clear communication is maintained to ensure the patient's comfort and consent.
