Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, creates tiny punctures to the face. This triggers the skin's natural healing response, leading to increased collagen and elastin production. This can help improve skin elasticity, firmness, and overall texture. It can be effective in reducing the appearance of acne scars, surgical scars, and stretch marks. LED red light therapy is immediately applied after the needling to further enhance collagen production. Best results are achieved by doing a series of 5 treatments 4-6 weeks apart. The exact number may vary based on individual skin goals and concerns. This treatment is covered by your benefits plan. It is not recommended for pregnant women. If you are doing Botox and want to target the same areas with microneedling it's best to wait 4 weeks after your last Botox session.
