Red light therapy, also known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation uses red or near-infrared light to promote healing, reduce inflammation, and improve various skin and health conditions. It stimulates the mitochondria in cells, which are responsible for producing energy (adenosine triphosphate or ATP). This process can enhance cellular metabolism, increase circulation, and promote tissue repair and regeneration. Red light therapy can improve skin tone and texture, reduce inflammation, promote collagen production, and accelerate wound healing. It's also used to speed up muscle recovery, reduce muscle fatigue, and improve performance after intense workouts or injuries. Red light therapy has been used to stimulate hair growth and improve the thickness and quality of hair follicles in individuals with hair loss or thinning hair. This consultation and treatment will ensure that Red Light Therapy is a fit for you. A treatment plan will be provided. It's recommended patients book 2-3 sessions a week. The initial consultation and treatment will be 60 minutes with follow up sessions 20 minutes. These sessions cannot be claimed under extended health benefits.
