Extended follow-up appointments are for first follow ups, patients who have had significant changes in their health, have not had an appointment for 6 months or more, or it has been agreed this length better fits your health needs (such as to review comprehensive lab results). These appointments are meant to monitor progress, make adjustments to your plan, implement further treatment steps, and complete any hands on treatment, such as acupuncture.
