Cesarean Scar or Scar Release Therapy is an advanced, non-invasive approach designed to support healing from c-section scars, as well as scars from surgeries or injuries. This innovative therapy helps restore comfort, movement, and function by addressing restrictions beneath the skin.
Benefits of Scar Release Therapy
Rapid Comfort Improvement:
Many clients notice reduced sensitivity, tightness, and discomfort within just a few treatments.
Improved Movement & Flexibility:
Releasing scar restrictions allows the body to move more freely and comfortably.
Stronger Core Function:
As scar tissue softens and mobility improves, overall strength and physical performance are enhanced.
Healthier Scar Appearance:
Scars often become smoother, softer, and less noticeable over time.
Gentle & Non-Surgical:
This safe, effective therapy requires no surgery or downtime.
Support for Postpartum Healing:
An important foundational step for postpartum recovery, helping restore core connection and function.
How It Works:
Scar Release Therapy uses Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS), a gentle, cutting-edge technique that stimulates the body’s natural healing processes at the cellular level. By encouraging healthy tissue activity, MPS helps reduce adhesions, soften dense scar tissue, and ease fascial restrictions.
Using Dolphin Neurostim™ technology, this therapy supports the skin’s ability to repair and regenerate. The treatment is clinically tested, Health Canada and FDA approved, and designed to safely and painlessly improve both the feel and function of cesarean scars. Many clients experience noticeable improvements in comfort, mobility, and scar texture within a relatively short time.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
The number of sessions recommended depends on the amount of scar tissue present and how your body responds to healing and regeneration, which can vary from person to person. Your Wellbe practitioner will create a personalized treatment plan and answer any questions along the way. Most individuals typically benefit from 3 to 6 sessions.
What tools are used?
Scar Release Therapy is performed using the Dolphin Neurostim™, which utilizes two microcurrent point stimulation devices designed to gently target scar tissue and surrounding areas.
Does it hurt?
Most individuals describe the sensation as gentle warmth or a mild tingling. Areas with denser scar tissue may feel more intense. In some cases, clients feel little to no sensation at all, which is still equally effective for treatment.
How long after my Cesarean section can I begin MPS Scar Release Therapy?
You may begin Cesarean Scar Release Therapy as early as 6 weeks post-surgery, once initial healing has occurred. Qui l’offre 1 praticien l’offre ici
