First Visit Intake Appointment - In Person

The initial counselling appointment is a 90-minute session that provides us with ample time to get to know one another, discuss what has brought you to therapy, gather relevant historical information about your life and experiences, and explore your goals for counselling. This appointment also offers a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space to ask questions, learn about my approach, and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.

Most of this first counselling visit is spent talking through what has been happening, how long it has been weighing on you, and what feels hardest right now — with the rest on clarifying patterns, goals, and boundaries so you leave knowing how the work together could be structured.
