Manual Osteopathy is a whole body approach to healing and maintaining your body. A comprehensive history, intake form, assessments, and special tests will help me to identify the dysfunctions that occur within your body so proper facilitation of the body can be initiated. For example; you may present with right shoulder discomfort and pain, but what actually may be happening is that your liver is "stuck" and needs to be manipulated into ease to release the shoulder pain and restriction (pretty cool, right?). It's reassuring to know that everyone has a dysfunction within their body, not just you! Everyone can utilize Manual Osteopathy starting at maintenance from birth. Manual Osteopathy is a combination of Osteoarticulations (bone alignment), Myofascial Remodeling, Craniosacral Therapy, Manual Lymph Therapy, & Visceral (organ) Manipulation. Everyone can receive MO treatments, some contraindications may require different techniques.
