Assessment includes TOTS (tethered oral tissue) exam for tongue, lip & buccal ties, infant TMJD (jaw) and poor oral function, torticollis, milestone & primitive reflex checks. Specialized chiropractors are certified in PIPS technique (pediatric intramural palate specific technique). Gentle, hands on chiropractic treatment is used to reduce tension in the neck, back and jaw, which allows baby to move and latch more efficiently & effectively.
