NeuroKinetic Therapy
NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) is based on the premise that when an injury has occurred, certain muscles shut down or become inhibited, forcing other muscles to become overworked. This compensation pattern can create pain or tightness.
By applying light pressure that the client then resists, the practitioner can evaluate the strength or weakness of each muscle, revealing the sources of injury and retraining the client’s body to remove the compensation patterns—reprogramming the body at the neural level.
The benefits of NKT include: improved mobility, increased strength and flexibility, reduced pain, and improved posture.
NKT is a corrective movement system that can be used to assess and rehabilitate various injuries, including low back pain, neck pain, carpal tunnel, and more!

Most of the appointment is spent watching how you move and load your body — gait, squat, balance, mobility and strength work — with coaching and exercise adjustments in real time, and you leave with a clearer picture of your movement patterns and a plan to practise.
