We are happy to welcome Jake Putz, RMT to the clinic beginning August 10. Jake is an experienced RMT moving to Victoria from Nanaimo and is looking foward to providing his expertise to our patients. Jake’s schedule is available for booking, either by booking online or by contacting the clinic by phone. The RMTs will no longer be treating patients with ICBC claims, except for Jake Putz, who is happy to take on ICBC and we will be able to direct bill. The acupuncturists and chiropractors are also seeing ICBC patients; however, we will not be direct billing for chiropractic or massage therapy with the exception of Jake, although we will direct bill for acupuncture. Often our billing and insurance is managed after appointments occur (evenings and Sunday afternoons). As a courtesy we offer direct billing to most extended health companies. In doing so we require patients to have credit card (we encrypt the number!) information on file for payment. If you are not comfortable having your credit card on file, we will not be direct billing your insurance. All services have intake forms that are mandatory for completion in full to receive care. Leaving sections blank does not help us to help you. If you have never been to our clinic, we need history information as we do not know you. Please ensure you complete your intake forms upon booking your appointment as you will not be able to complete them upon arrival. Reminder: Your appointment time is reserved just for you. As such, we require 2 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 2 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged for their appointment in full via encrypted credit card on file. Please note, the 2 hour cancellation time is for chiropractic only. Acupuncture and Massage Therapy are, at minimum, 24 hours.
