Dr. Parsons was born in South Africa and raised in Victoria, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Victoria. A graduate of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon, he has obtained considerable postgraduate knowledge in sports injury and soft-tissue injury management. This has included working with the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League (C.F.L.), and the Canadian Professional Rodeo Sports Medicine Team (C.P.R.S.M.T.). Dr. Parsons previously practiced in Vermont, U.S.A. and Vancouver, B.C. In 2001 he moved to Langford to open Thetis Heights Chiropractic Clinic. With the addition of new therapies and needing more space, Dr. Parsons opened Energy Health Clinic in 2009.
