This comprehensive first visit is designed to understand your injury and create a clear plan for your recovery. Your clinician will begin by reviewing the details of your concussion, including how the injury occurred and the symptoms you’re experiencing. We will also review your overall health history to identify any factors that may influence your recovery.
A detailed physical and cognitive assessment will be completed to evaluate your balance, coordination, eye movements, neurological function, and cognitive performance. This thorough evaluation helps us determine the type and severity of your concussion, allowing us to provide accurate guidance and individualized care.
This appointment is an essential first step in understanding your injury and setting the foundation for effective, personalized treatment.
