Facial acupuncture is a support for skin, muscle and nerve issues on the face. It can help treat acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, bells palsy, trigeminal neuralgia, and help the overall function of the skin. Best done in a series 10 sessions over 5 weeks. Although one-off treatments can be effective and helpful as well.

What it is
Most of the session is the treatment itself — needles placed at selected points and left in place for a stretch, sometimes with heat or electrical stimulation — with a shorter check-in on what changed after last time and any small adjustments before you leave with the next step in the plan.
