We assess your foot and figure out the range of motion challenges and painful areas. Then we cast a mold of your foot in its best position so that your custom orthotic is molded to your foot in its strongest most efficient position.
We send your cast to Peak orthotics in Courtney and they send us back a rehab orthotic for your foot.
Its function is usually to stabilize the rear foot to slow down the pronation of the subtalar joint, from heel strike to mid-stance. It then provides substantial forefoot mobility to challenge both extrinsic and intrinsic flexors, from mid stance to toe off.
