In this extended session, your physiotherapist will go over specific exercises for labour and birth to prepare your body for the big day, whether you are planning a C-section or a vaginal delivery! We encourage your support person to attend as well (spouse, partner, whomever is going to be there with you on the big day!)
This appointment is booked at 34 weeks GA, following the completion of an initial assessment and is one part of our plan of care for pregnant clients.

Most of the appointment is spent figuring out what your body can and can’t do — talking through the pattern of the problem, then checking movement, strength, balance and specific tests — with some hands-on treatment or exercise coaching and a plan to take away.
