Initial assessment- Chinese Medicine Acupuncture/Manual Therapy
Dr. "Jim" will customize a treatment plan based on your past and current health history. A full Deep Manual Therapy and Acupuncture session will be administered and followed with hot pack treatment .
Deep Manual Therapy- Tui-na therapy, in Chinese medicine involves the manipulation of soft tissues, bones, and joints through various techniques using the hands or assistive devices. Tui-na therapy resolves structural and functional issues, relieving pain and improving mobility. Its primary benefit lies in correcting skeletal misalignment, often caused by poor posture that leads to uneven weight distribution in the body. Temporary pain or discomfort may be experienced during and after spinal correction due to realignment of soft tissues. Pain during treatment must be expressed to your practitioner to ensure they are working within your allowable range of motion and pain tolerance.
Acupuncture utilizes acupuncture needles on the established 12 meridians, which have long been recognized for their role in maintaining the body’s balance, to address painful areas, musculoskeletal issues, nerves, and internal organs simultaneously.
