An MPI Physiotherapy Initial Assessment is an assessment for an injury which occurred during a Motor Vehicle Accident. You must be pre-approved for treatment with Manitoba Public Insurance, and you must provide Fit 4 Life with an Injury Claim Number prior to your appointment.
Please note: Manitoba Public Insurance will only authorize one assessment per injury claim number.

Most of this first physiotherapy visit is spent figuring out what’s driving the problem — history, movement, strength and hands-on testing — then some treatment if there’s time, and you leave with a clearer picture and a plan for what comes next.
