Once you get started on HRT, you will be required to book follow up appointments at regular intervals; typically 3 to 6 months, depending on the duration of your treatment. This protocol has to be followed to allow your doctor to assess your treatment progress, evaluate blood work, monitor your response to treatment, and ensure your safety. It is important to understand that prescriptions may require adjustments over the course of your hormone treatment
