Follow-up treatment for patients with vestibular disorders under WCB continues the rehabilitation process initiated during the initial assessment. The goal during this phase is to build on progress, refine the treatment plan, manage symptoms, and ensure that the patient is returning to functional activities (including work duties) without exacerbating their symptoms.
As the patient moves through vestibular rehabilitation therapy (VRT), follow-up visits aim to monitor and adjust treatment strategies based on symptom changes and the patient’s recovery trajectory.
The key focus is to restore normal vestibular function, improve balance, reduce dizziness and vertigo, and ultimately ensure a safe return to work and daily activities.
