This treatment combines techniques from Japanese Kobido Face Massage, Burmese Relaxing Head Massage, Scandinavian Spa Facial Massage and Manual Lymph Drainage with holds from Craniosacral Therapy. Warmed or cooled instruments (IASTM) and/or hot stones and towels may also be used as indicated. This treatment is effective for headaches, muscle and jaw tension, TMJ dysfunction, sinus congestion, general stress relief, the reduction of puffiness and fluid retention (lymph) and the increase of circulation. Contraindications and precautions for facial massage include active acne, rosacea flares, cold sores, herpes, open lesions.
