Traditional Thai Massage - Nuad Bo Rarn from Northern Thailand, is an ancient form of body therapy that combines acupressure, assisted stretching and muscle compression to create a truly unique and therapeutic experience for the recipient. Working with energy lines, this bodywork helps improve energy flow, relieve muscle tension, flush toxins and increase joint mobility. The rhythmic movements effectively calms the nervous system and promotes deep relaxation.
The recipient is fully clothed ideally wearing loose/stretchy and comfortable clothing (yoga gear/no shorts). There is an option to start the session with warm towels wrapped on the feet. This is a more active type of treatment moving in and out of different postures and positions, performed on a firm yet comfortable floor mat.
With advance notice, you can request this treatment to be performed on a massage table.
