LEVEL 1: Mom & Baby Postnatal Movement & Rehab 6 Week Series
This is a 6 week series run through MOVE Yoga Studio in New Westminster. The sessions are run by Kate, a certified pre and postnatal corrective exercise specialist and pelvic floor physiotherapist.
Sessions run for 60 minutes and combine functional movement and education related to postpartum. This class is open to anyone who is 6 weeks or more postpartum, vaginal delivery or c section. Babies are welcome. We will cover diastasis recti, pelvic floor anatomy and function, and more. This class is not billable to extended health benefits and a physiotherapy receipt will not be provided. If you have questions please don't hesitate to reach out to Kate directly.
Life gets in the way sometimes. If you need to cancel your enrolment, the series is fully refundable if cancelled at least one week prior to the beginning of the series. If you cancel less than a week prior to the series starting- a partial refund (50%) will be provided. If you cancel after the start of the series, no refund can be provided due to the nature of the series as Kate will not be able to fill the spot after the series begins. Most of the appointment is spent figuring out what your body can and can’t do — talking through the pattern of the problem, then checking movement, strength, balance and specific tests — with some hands-on treatment or exercise coaching and a plan to take away.
