Suitable for a full body treatment or multiple areas of concern. Pressure, agreed areas of treatment & specifics of care, are determined in the consult portion of the appointment. Includes consultation, assessment, change time, hands on treatment and home care recommendations. The benefit to Medi Cupping is to enhance a classic manual treatment, increasing oxygenation within stagnant, injured tissue, release trigger points, hydrate & soften adhesions thus relieving pain & stimulating lymphatic flow. The "lifting" techniques provide profound deep tissue results without the discomfort that can result from deeper manual pressure and with much less time! It can be quite relaxing and soothing and may cause some areas to temporarily change in colour. This is a normal, pain free effect of lifting techniques. Depending on the muscle tissue, this can eliminate within minutes, a few hours or days. **Avoid viewing online, exaggerated images that are likely the result of applications performed outside of our scope & strict practice guidelines.** Our therapists will make every effort to control this normal soft tissue reaction with a gradual approach during medi cupping treatment. Approximately 85-90% of treatment time allows for a partial body focus.
