The Beyond Buccal Massage is a blissful blend of intra-oral techniques (using gloved hands to access the cheeks and jaw muscles) combined with external work to the face, neck and head. Through slow, rhythmic myofascial release, the TMJ and key muscles involved in chewing, facial expression, and postural alignment are softened, lengthened, and encouraged back toward balance and symmetry. Manual lymphatic drainage techniques, and fascial cupping encourage lymphatic flow decreasing facial puffiness, congestion and swelling. Additionally, the nervous system can soften into a state of safety through guided breath and mindful awareness to further unlock guarding and pain pathways, bringing coherence to the brain and body further enhancing the healing process. This unique and specialized session creates space and ease in the jaw leaving you feeling lighter and lifted in the face, while grounded and glowing radiantly from the inside out.
