NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Protocol)
Kathryn Kurash TCMD, R.Ac, R.M.T. was trained in NADA in Victoria, B.C. in July 2017.
NADA was designed to assist healing within a Community setting. Clients come and sit in a circle, set our intention out loud for the healing that the client would like for that day. Kathryn will come around and Acupuncture 5 points on the Ear. This is called Auricular Therapy.
The points that Kathryn will be using can either be Acupunctured or Ear seeds placed on the ears.
The five points chosen are Shen Men (calming for the Heart), Sympathetic Nervous System (calms our nervous system), Kidney point (releases Fear), Liver point (helps to calm our Anger and Irritability), and last but not least the Lung point (heals the deep seated sadness that we hold within). NADA is said to help release the veil, of what holds us back, from not living our true life's potential. We all are here with a purpose, when we release what is holding us back we can break out of those destructive tendencies and start to really live. Anyone who’s experienced a great deal of Stress, Trauma and or has Addiction tendencies, this is a great modality to assist with all of the above.

What it is
Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
