(Please note: Reiki treatments are not considered within the scope of practice of a Registered Acupuncturist and will therefore be not be billed as an acupuncture treatment. If you are claiming your treatments under a health insurance plan you will need to determine if reiki is a claimable service under your specific policy coverage.)

Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
