Pre-Rollers Motor Milestone Group (4 weeks)

This class includes 4 sessions over 8 weeks that is $60/session and $240 in total. We cannot direct bill for this class but the class can be billed to some insurance providers, contact your insurance provider to see if this group physiotherapy class would be covered. You must sign up for the entire course. Your child will also need an initial assessment prior to joining the class if they have not already been assessed at our clinic, this can typically be direct billed to insurance. Our “pre-rollers” class is a group class run by a registered physiotherapist and each child will be assessed and treated on a 1-1 basis according to their needs. This class is for babies ~ages 3-5 months that are not yet rolling. The class centres around parent education on motor milestone development and progression, as well as discusses common paediatric concerns. The purpose of this class is preventative intervention, with the goal of educating parents on activities they can do with their child to avoid common paediatric conditions such as delayed gross motor development, poor sitting positions and posture, and alignment issues. Topics covered will include head shape, tummy time, rolling and supported sitting. The program serves to promote infant development and provide information on purposeful play.
