Complete decongestive therapy (CDT), combines various lymphedema treatments to reduce swelling, improve the skin’s condition, increase your mobility, and reduce your risk of infection.
CDT consist of an intensive phase of approximately 3 weeks, 2-3 times per week, of bandaging and manual lymphatic drainage. As well as an exercise and skin care plan, all with the goal of getting your lymphedema under control.
You must book the CDT assessment prior to the treatment appointments.

Most of the appointment is spent figuring out what your body can and can’t do — talking through the pattern of the problem, then checking movement, strength, balance and specific tests — with some hands-on treatment or exercise coaching and a plan to take away.
