Acusculpting® is a specialized system of cosmetic acupuncture designed to firm, lift, tighten, and tone the skin of the face and body. Created by Illya Borrenson, R.Ac, this method targets cellulite, aging or damaged skin, scar tissue, and can also stimulate hair growth. Treatments may include tiny cups, jade rollers, gua sha, essential oils, facial toner, and acupuncture on both the face and body. Most of the appointment is spent mapping out what’s going on in your body and choosing points, then resting with fine needles in place for a stretch — sometimes with heat, cups or electrical stimulation — and you leave with a sense of what was treated and whether more sessions make sense.
