($60-$40 sliding scale) Community acupuncture takes place in a group setting with up to four people being treated at once in the same room. Acupuncture points frequently used in a community setting include points along the arms, legs, face, and head. We encourage you to wear loose and comfortable clothing during your appointment. Follow-up community acupuncture visits are offered on a sliding of $60-$40. Please let us know what fee works best for you when checking out. These visits also work well in conjunction with 1:1 acupuncture treatments. What it is

Most of the session is the treatment itself — needles placed at selected points and left in place for a stretch, sometimes with heat or electrical stimulation — with a shorter check-in on what changed after last time and any small adjustments before you leave with the next step in the plan.

55 minNew patientThe initial community acupuncture visit is for first time acupuncture patients who have never had an acupuncture treatment at Madrona.** Community acupuncture takes place in a group setting with up to four people being treated at once in the same room. The treatment and intake together take approximately 60 minutes, and include an assessment by a Registered Acupuncturist who will establish a Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis in order to come up with an effective treatment plan. Acupuncture points frequently used in a community setting include points along the arms, legs, face, and head. These visits also work well in conjunction with private acupuncture treatments. We encourage you to wear loose and comfortable clothing during your appointment. The first Initial Community Acupuncture visit is $60. After this, community acupuncture is offered on a sliding of $60-$40. **If you have already seen an acupuncturist for a private Initial Intake visit, you would book your community acupuncture session as a follow-up.
