At this appointment our occupational therapist will create a custom thermoplastic splint/orthosis for you based on the referral from your physician, surgeon or medical practitioner. Prices for custom splinting vary based on size, complexity and cost of the splint materials used for your specific orthosis. A detailed receipt for the custom thermoplastic will be provided to submit to extended health plans for reimbursement as we are typically unable to direct bill for splints. 40 minutes of direct time and 5 minutes of indirect care

Returning clients: Please book this appointment if you have seen Nicole Hart, PT, CHT previously for this same injury, have a single area of injury you are looking to quickly reassess and have a brief treatment or short exercise update and do not require a full 45 minute reassessment. Please note this is not sufficient time to assess a new area of injury, provide new custom splinting or provide treatment for bilateral injuries. If it has been longer than 6 months since you have seen Nicole Hart, PT, CHT, or you have had surgery, you will require at least a 45 minute reassessment. Your practitioner always prefers more time and longer appointments will be adjusted down to shorter ones if the time isn't required.

Please book a 60 minute assessment if you have a complex history including multiple surgeries. We will shorten the appointment if the full 60 minutes is not required. This 45 minute session includes 40 minutes of direct time with your practitioner and 5 minutes of indirect care

Please select this treatment to be measured for custom silver ring splints/orthoses or if your health care provider, doctor or surgeon has prescribed a silver ring splint for you. Silver Ring Splints are special ordered from our custom silver ring splinting lab and take up to 12 weeks to receive. Prices for custom silver ring splinting vary based on complexity of the splint and cost of the materials but are often in the $250 to $1500 range for each splint. Ordering silver ring splints requires a deposit at the time of ordering. You can select this appointment as a current, returning or new client. This session includes 30 minutes of direct time with your practitioner for measuring and selection and 15 minutes of indirect care for your practitioner to complete the forms and ordering process.

Please book this appointment prior to any in person assessment with Nicole Hart, PT, CHT. This session is appropriate for injuries and conditions of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. For this online consultation, your hand therapist will review your intake forms and provided medical information including imaging and reports prior to your online session, she will review your current subjective reports, discuss your current condition with you and provide a recommended in clinic assessment and treatment plan with appointment frequency specific to your case. For optimal results in new post-surgical conditions, your hand therapist will often recommend pre-booking a once or twice weekly treatment plan for the first 6 weeks after surgery and advance booking is recommended to secure appointment times. This 45 minute session includes 30 minutes of direct time with your therapist online and 15 minutes of indirect care

Please note that if the full 60 minutes is not required we will shorten your appointment to meet your needs and bill accordingly. As Nicole's schedule has limited availability, kindly call our office to book as we are prioritizing urgent and surgical hand therapy cases. This 60 minute session includes 50 minutes of direct time with your practitioner and 10 minutes of indirect care.

Nicole's physiotherapy treatments are active rehabilitation and are conducted in our gym space. For increased schedule availability or private room assessment kindly select a different practitioner.
