Your therapist will begin by reviewing your medical history and discussing your concerns.
A physical examination will assess posture, movement patterns, and areas of tension. This assessment will include palpation of bony landmarks and soft tissue to examine the size, texture and tenderness of an organ or body part.
You may be asked to perform simple movements to help the therapist evaluate joint and muscle function as well as fascial tension. There will also be a treatment and a personalized plan made outlining goals and future appointments.
