Facial acupuncture treatment is focused on driving blood circulation to problem areas and encouraging the regrowth of collagen underneath the skin on the face. Treatment will also target areas with wrinkles and scars. There will also be a component of systemic treatment to encourage metabolism and boost regrowth from within.
**Important note to first-time clients: An initial consultation is mandatory for all first time visitors.** Traditional Chinese Medicine uses a very thorough approach to diagnose the body as a whole. As a result, a significant amount of time is required for an initial intake to allow the practitioner to accurately evaluate the patient’s health constitution.

Most of the session is the treatment itself — needles placed at selected points and left in place for a stretch, sometimes with heat or electrical stimulation — with a shorter check-in on what changed after last time and any small adjustments before you leave with the next step in the plan.
