The 15 minute consultation is designed to review the clients needs and counselling goals. This is an opportunity for the counsellor to answer any question and for both parties to determine if this is a good fit. Consultations are typically done over the phone, however a virtual meeting can be accommodated at the clients request.

Most of this first counselling visit is spent talking through what has been happening, how long it has been weighing on you, and what feels hardest right now — with the rest on clarifying patterns, goals, and boundaries so you leave knowing how the work together could be structured.
