Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialized massage technique that stimulates the lymphatic system to remove waste and excess fluid from the body. Using light, rhythmic, skin-stretching movements, a trained therapist works on unaffected areas first to reroute fluid away from swollen areas and towards working lymph nodes, helping to reduce swelling (lymphedema) and speed up healing.
