This 75 minute initial session includes a comprehensive occupational therapy assessment with an introduction to integrated acupuncture as part of your treatment plan. The occupational therapist will evaluate your physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning, identify barriers to daily activities, and explore your personal goals. Medical acupuncture may be introduced to address issues such as pain, muscle tension, sleep difficulties, stress, or low energy—supporting overall function and well-being.
The session may include interview, movement screening, hands-on assessment, and a trial of acupuncture if appropriate. A customized treatment plan will be developed to guide your care.
