TMJ Assessment and Treatment
Massage therapy treatment that aims to improve jaw dysfunction by treating muscles of the head, face, jaw and neck. TMJ dysfunction can be caused by teeth clenching and/or grinding, frequent gum chewing or eating chewy food like gummy bears, etc. This treatment can be given externally and/or intra-orally (inside the mouth) to decrease muscle tension, jaw pain and may even help reduce headaches.
